We have several Senior Front End Development positions open. We want people who know JavaScript, CSS and even the JVM well beyond the syntax and into many of their idioms, patterns and advanced libraries. On the JavaScript side, we make heavy use of promises and modules; on the CSS side, we make use of transitions and tools for precompilation; on the JVM side we use Scala. We're looking for top front end talent that is interested in learning more and more.
Our environment is full of interesting and intelligent people, and we’re looking for similarly high caliber developers to join us. Our engineers have authored four total books on software development. We've got a PhD from Oxford with deep roots in category theory, as well as contributors to the Play Framework and an iteratee-based MongoDB driver for Scala (http://reactivemongo.org/). We strongly emphasize open source development and have already released a Scala library for Datomic (http://pellucidanalytics.github.com/datomisca/). We have several other open source projects in the works, including a promise-based JavaScript library for high performance UI in native iOS applications. Our software stack is meant to be 100% non-blocking and our libraries are focused on making that a reality.
