Position: Front End Developer

Position Scope:
We are looking for a passionate Front End Engineer to join our fast growing New York City startup. Our front-end engineers help build the intuitive and interactive interfaces that power the LearnVest content and tools seen and used by millions each month.
Our tech team is composed of passionate software engineers. We maintain a culture where developers are encouraged to learn and grow their skills with new products and technologies. We believe in an open exchange of ideas and knowledge, and we facilitate personal growth through open tech team meetings, junior/senior mentorship, peer reviews, hackdays, and more.
You will be a key member of the front-end development team, making technical decisions that will drive the future of our WordPress experience. We need a passionate candidate with experience in developing web applications using WordPress, PHP, and MySQL. We expect a high level of comfort working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with responsive layouts and mobile design is a plus.
