The Director of Software Engineering is responsible for overseeing all development activities for a group of on-shore and off-shore development teams.This includes all aspects of the SDLC for multiple systems playing a critical role in the Web and Mobile-App channels for the company's products.

Operational responsibilities will be to:
·Motivate and Lead an engineering team to take ownership of the product as a whole with pride and deliver quality, on-time and on-budget projects.
·Become a key contributor of new & trendy technical solutions to make the product stand out among the competition.
·Manage and coordinate all aspects of multiple projects; including analysis and requirements definition; scoping; planning; technical prototyping, construction, rollout & production support.
·Work with product managers & project managers to define project deliverables & schedule from requirements to rollout.
·Interface with the Operations for driving infrastructure & capacity needs for the responsible products.
·Mentor and define overall technical direction for the Web group pivoted around the latest HTML5/JS/CSS3 technologies.
·Cultivate synergy between teams working on web and mobile channels for a single product.
·Partner with peers to contribute and champion solutions and processes for constant improvement of the technology platform for the enterprise.
·Play a hands-on role and not just limited to a delegating role.
·Use of logic, negotiation and facilitation to build consensus, alignment and direction
·Deliver presentations and status reports to senior management; reports to CTO.
