Early-stage startup seeks top-notch Javascript UI developer with a keen design eye and a strong entrepreneurial attitude. You will lead the front end of a social web/mobile product, contributing your solid design principles and technical expertise to deliver high-quality, engaging highly-scalable products. You are an experienced, self-motivated and flexible UI Developer who is a team player and is passionate about delivering beautiful, innovative products that excite users.
About our stack:
We use JavaScript on the front end and Node.js on the back end, with Node technologies such as Express, npm and Jade. At the data layer, we use MongoDB and also plan to use a Titan graph database. Our deployment plans are based on cloud services from DigitalOcean.
About the role:
- Own the front end of our platform, from both a design perspective as well as development, driving innovative solutions and best practices throughout the life cycle of the product.
- Work with a very small team, touching everything, making contributions across the entire stack, both web and mobile.
- Iterate and improve existing products, applications, and architecture.
- Produce clean, elegant, maintainable, robust and well-tested code.
- Contribute product ideas, not just write code to a detailed spec.
- Work in an environment where all your coworkers demonstrate self-accountability, initiative and the desire to build something great.
