The SCM Analyst will be responsible for leading a team in the implementation, revamping, building and deployment of methodologies for upcoming initiatives and development projects.
- Responsible for writing, maintaining and documenting code using detailed technical specifications or verbal instructions while complying with established methodologies and procedures.
- Supports and enhances existing software, 3rd party products, and/or participating in the development of new software initiatives.
- Ensures that the project life cycle requirements and programming standards of IFDS are adhered to. Responsible for quality and efficiency of programs developed.
- Participates in preparation of initial and detailed estimates for development and enhancement requests
- Assists with the technical design of the project, providing alternatives that meet client needs and support IFDS architectural direction.
- Prepares detailed program specifications
- Attends and conducts reviews of requirements, business design, data model, process model, object model, system test scripts and technical design documents as needed.
- Writes specifications and/or codes for more difficult ‘key’ areas of project
- Code, test, and debug (unit, system integration) as required to deliver quality code
