Job Summary:
All of Avalara’s businesses come together in the Administration Console. Your job is building well structured rich-client applications. Our ideal developer knows Javascript inside and out and wants to develop interactive and ambitious web apps with intuitive functionality. You want to make some of the most complex business problems deceptively simple. You’re worked through the full software development lifecycle in the past and have participated in Agile development teams. You are proactive, relentlessly drilling into user requirements until the stage is set for a beautiful solution. You will be working in a team devoted to building a consistent UX across all products rather than as a contributor on a multidisciplinary team. The challenges and collaboration will be fun. You love using open source tools and infrastructure to make complex challenges simple.
