Position Summary
Adobe is building a platform for online document services that includes document conversions services, online forms creation and submission, and hassle-free large file transfers. We are seeking a senior SaaS engineer with a passion for innovation to revolutionize the way the world interacts with documents. We are looking for a Django/Python or Java Developer who is just as at home building front-end features using JQuery and Backbone, and, preferrably has experience with AWS. This individual is talented and experienced at building highly scalable web applications. Your primary responsibility will be implementing new features. In doing so, you are expected to be able to work on all aspects, ranging from the design, client/UI, API, backend server, functional, performance and load tests, and operational metrics. You should be able to think end-to-end about how a feature will work, how it will scale, and how it will be measured & monitored. We consider analytics a key to our success. Responsibilities
- Define, design, and implement new features by working closely with product management, user design and quality engineering.
- Ensure a strong emphasis on monitoring and metrics for analyzing the health of the features as well as their usefulness to the customer.
- Develop highly available, high performance, scalable REST based web services
- Ensure high quality by following best practices like PEP8, code reviews, and automated unit tests.
- Evaluate new technologies, and help incorporate them into the technology stack
- Lead and participate in production deployment activities of your features and troubleshoot / resolve issues escalated from the production environment.
