A Little About Us
We’re looking for someone who gets excited when technology is used to do something real. At Red Clay we aren’t busy creating the latest app for our buddies, optimizing data processing to shave a few more milliseconds off of search results, or how to get in on the new mobile, social networking craze. Instead we’re looking for an interdisciplinary teammate who is determined to bring today’s technology and efficiency to a design process that can be applied to a variety of industries.
Red Clay’s mission is to leverage technology to bring the right people together to create the best possible product solutions. We connect projects from forward-thinking brands to a qualified community of designers who deliver innovative, marketable new product designs.
During the first year in existence:
- We’ve run 70 products through a bubble gum and duct tape MVP
- Generated $250,000 in revenue while testing and iterating both the technology and process
- Involved 6 enterprise brands, 700 designers, and 200,000 consumers in bringing the product design process into the 21st century

At present, we’re collaborating with Pivotal Labs to jumpstart the evolution of the site. The right candidate will be able to fold into both the small, scrappy Red Clay team and the robust, talented, agile development team at Pivotal.
