In this role as a Drupal Developer on our Digital Experience team, you will work autonomously and build high-quality code features. You are responsible for meeting aggressive deadlines as well as possessing the ability to lead technical tasks through development, testing and deployment. Experience with systems administration will be helpful so that you can get things done efficiently. You will build custom Drupal modules, new features and custom themes for a variety of Volusion Inc. websites.
- Staying current with rapid innovation in web technologies, especially as it pertains to Drupal.
- Implementing development operation workflows and tools: dev-stage-production workflows, source control tools like Git, continuous integration like Jenkins, Hudson, Chef; specific to Drupal deployment: features, strongarm, install profiles and module development
- Understanding server infrastructure to create highly available and scalable features (varnish, php op code caching).
- Designing and developing code architecture that promotes reuse, readability, and best-practice coding standards.
