We are looking for a strong backend developer to fill out a long-term contract position on our team as we take on new projects. You will work with a team of great developers from around the world and play a strong role in developing our new backend REST API.

What we use every day.

  • Symfony

  • Ember.js

  • Ruby

  • Git

  • Jira

  • D3

This is a solid, established team. We do 2-week sprints with a daily standup. We have a full spec with specialists on hand to answer business logic questions. Our issue tracker is always up to date, courtesy of our QA team.

How do we develop software?

  1. Get assigned a story or bug in our issue tracker.

  2. Run vagrant up on your 16GB RAM Macbook Pro. (We'll have you committing code on your first day.)

  3. Write your acceptance tests.

  4. Write the code!

  5. Commit your code - open a pull request.

  6. Our continuous integration environment lets you know if your build passed.

  7. One or more of the senior developers gives feedback.

  8. Your code is merged.

  9. The QA team gives its feedback.

  10. Our build tool pushes your changes that night automatically.

If that sounds appealing at all, please send me your information! (Be sure to include a link to your Github profile.)

This position is on-site at our office in Cupertino and is available immediately.
