Software Development Lead – Hands on Software Engineer & Self Starting Lean Thinker!
We're looking for a talented “Software Development Lead” to join our teams at The LateRooms Group.
This opportunity allows you to keep your hands on the tech, but also expose you to the line management track.
As a Software Development Lead:
You are already a highly competent developer and want to stay “hands on code”, but have had some line/team management experience and want to extend this even further.Highly competent in core a language of C#, but can demonstrate adaptability in other areas.
Confident in using SOLID principles & ORM frameworks to develop with a true TDD approach.You are a switched on modern software engineer, who can identify the people & skills within your team to deliver high quality software whilst creating an environment that is motivating, inspiring and mentors others while you deliver solutions.You will have as much passion in HOW you work & deliver as you do in the technology you use, so terms like 'Craftsmanship', 'Clean Code', 'TDD', 'Self Organising', 'Metrics', 'Fast Feedback', 'Automate Everything' ... is not just a pipe dream but your mantra!You will be responsible for the technical implementation of your team.You will drive continuous team improvement balanced with effective delivery.You will work very closely with Product Owner and Stakeholders to improve your products.You will perform all line management duties for the Developers within a Product Team.
The ‘Product Team’ itself consists of all the skills needed to deliver solutions for the business, from Business Stakeholders, Product Owner, Business Analysis, Development & QA.
