Help us build apps that will be in the hands of users across Europe, making a difference for public health.
First: disaster response coordination. The app will be used by first responders (police, firefighters, emergency medical) and the general public, to view real-time maps, receive emergency information, and share on-the-ground observations during a crisis situation. You will work closely with our development team in the US and the EU-based partners to design and implement the app.
Second: tracking medication side effects. The app will be used by both doctors and the general public to track and report side effects of medications. Our U.S. version is available at medwatcher.org. This is a crowdsourcing and Big Data analytics application with the potential to identify side effects EARLY and help prevent illness and save lives. We are working with top EU safety officials to create a new, European-tailored version.
Candidate must be eligible to work in Ireland; some EU and international travel will be required.
