We're looking for an experienced front end all-rounder who can adopt our freshly built web application, currently preparing for release, then help us push it into the big leagues. The platform is modern (no legacy IE!) and fast-moving; as the first full time in-house front end developer there will be plenty of opportunity to have a lot of input in all areas.
Come help us with the responsive, mobile-first rebuild of a web application which helps students discover and access pathways through study and work to their dream careers.
This isn't a jobs board or bland government information site like most of the traditional "careers" sites you're probably familiar with. We take a much more modern approach, wrapping a rich, modern JS application around social interaction and a strong focus on data to provide a far more empowering experience to our users, helping guide them from subject selection in high school through part-time work and internships all the way to graduating from university or further training and landing their dream job.
The ability to get started quickly is important but we have an ambitious roadmap and there will be plenty of room for learning and growth along the way.
