GeoDecisions is currently seeking a Mid- to Senior-level Developer to work either in our Camp Hill, PA headquarters office, or our Philadelphia, PA office. The Mid- to Senior Developer would join a team of developers servicing our government clients and current development activities across the company. This position will be primarily supporting various State Government clients and innovative project throughout the country. The projects entail development of advanced spatial analytical capabilities and toolsets, data maintenance and processing toolsets, web functionality, among other project activities that offer daily diversity to a developer’s experiences. This position requires some travel and occasional onsite client visits within the United States. Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a software development team to develop solutions based on client requirements
• Participate in application requirements gathering and design meetings
• Support the development of solution designs and testing scripts
• Support under the direction of a technical architect, the development of solution modules
• Oversee testing workflows on code and review recorded findings, working with development team to resolve defects
• Be able to support rapid application development with prototypes, etc.
• Attend project status meetings as required
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, GIS, or related field required.
- 3-6+ years’ experience developing web applications within enterprise architectures
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to manage tasks and timelines effectively
- Demonstrable ability to work as part of an integrated solution development team
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance
