Sencha User Interface Developer at Easy Metrics, Inc. (Issaquah, WA) (allows remote)

As the User Interface Developer, you will own the user interfaces and implement features and functionality in conjunction with backend development. You will deliver innovative and effective usability improvements to existing applications. This is a data rich web application with many grids and configuration popups where presentation of information must be streamlined and intuitive. Existing applications are functional, but in need of refinement. The opportunity is to play a leading role in the look and feel as well as functionality of the system.

Everything is built using Sencha Ext JS 3 & 4 and substantial experience with Ext JS is absolutely essential. Near future plans include using Sencha Touch for first stage mobile applications. The backend varies (PHP, Java) and JSON is the method of communicating data. We use Jaspersoft Pro for reporting, bonus points for experience and knowledge in this area.

General responsibilities include:
- Design and implement user interface elements based on feature and functionality guidelines.
- Develop prototypes to demonstrate proposed architecture/design.
- Document end user functionality and training materials.
- Engage in supportive project management activities such as status reporting, issue tracking, risk management, estimation, and managing deadlines.
