Our team is looking for a developer to help us build a unique web-based collaborative research software platform. The platform has a AngularJS front-end and a Python-based API backend and the position involves primarily front-end work.
The CFB is an independent research unit at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) that conducts research on the development of cell factories—microbial strains that produce chemicals through biosynthesis—so that they can replace products from the petrochemical industry. We are working to develop these cell factories more quickly by setting up an efficient workflow for cell factory development.
The software platform is at the center of this workflow. It will be a collaborative platform for our researchers that collects all the different sorts of data generated by the workflow. We use robotics, modern genome-wide assays, large-scale data analysis, and computational modeling in the workflow. You will collaborate closely with computational and experimental biologists at CFB to connect these technologies.
