Kaggle is offering an opportunity to be involved in what Forbes magazine called the most novel Machine Learning applications that are "eating the world." As a developer, you'll be responsible for keeping kaggle.com (and the 140 000+ data science community that uses it) running: everything from front-end UI work to server-side code and DB architecture.
On a typical day, you might:
- Write code for back-end using the latest versions of C#, ReSharper, and ASP.NET MVC. Develop on the front-end using tools like jQuery and knockout.js. We place an emphasis on pragmatic problem solving, but are always adopting new technologies that help us get there faster.
- Deploy your code to our production servers multiple times a day where it will be used by tens of thousands of data scientists.
- Add new features to our platform that delight our community and help Kaggle's data science team to deliver larger and more exciting competitions that explore the frontier of machine learning.
- Get whatever tools you need from our company Amazon account: no painful approval required.
