We’re looking for an experienced Ruby/Rails developer to join our small team at FastPencil. FastPencil, Inc. is a developer of end-to-end, cloud-based content management technology. FastPencil serves authors and publishers with full-featured, open-platform solutions spanning content, workflow, marketing and distribution, and also provides simple automated systems to help self-publishers get to market quickly and effectively in both print and e-book form.
This developer will play a big part in designing and implementing features in the new JRuby/TorqueBox-based version of our application, and contribute to our growing company’s story.
An ideal candidate should have experience with developing and maintaining commercial applications built on Rails, and should be able to show us examples of their work currently in production.
