As a Software Engineer (Build Automation), you'll be working with a team of 10 software engineers to build the architecture required to run the Safety Culture platform.
Your goal will be the deployment, management and configuration of all servers and services on AWS. Developing strong CI and CD pipelines is also of highest priority.
The key to this role is an "infrastructure as code" approach to managing distributed architecture.
What does a typical day look like?
- Building a scalable, fault tolerant and cost effective server architecture
- Deploying services
- Analysing performance of services and troubleshooting
- Developing configuration code
- Providing guidance and direction to software engineers about architectural patterns and goals
- Facilitating fast and reliable deployment of features and bug fixes
