Who we are
We are a small, new team under the umbrella of Strategy and Innovation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education.
Over the past year, our team has applied our expertise in user experience design, statistics, machine learning, and natural language processing to build tools that demonstrate the power of expanding access to a wealth of clinical, genomic, financial and operational data available within our institution.
We are now building a dedicated product development team to capitalize on this success.
We are looking for a variety of new team members with backgrounds in systems administration, visual design, software engineering, and machine learning to help us build new data-driven products.
We are passionate about transforming cancer care and research by creating technology that helps physicians and scientists discover more-effective strategies to prevent, control, and ultimately cure cancer.
As a member of our team you will have an opportunity to play an integral role in the development of products that use advanced computational methods to extract actionable insight from troves of clinical, genomic, financial and operational data that has been collected at our institution over 20+ years. You are
- Driven to find solutions to scientific problems through the utilization of the latest in software engineering and development
- Able to craft, deliver, and articulate the full stack of a software product from front-end to back-end
- Independent enough to work on small scale projects gathering requirements, prototyping, and laying down the foundations of good software
- Capable of communicating and collaborating on larger, longer-term projects involving interdisciplinary team members and additional engineers
