Experts consider local food the next big industry poised for disruption – and bets are on Seattle’s hot new food-tech startup. Farmstr, a platform matching existing local food supply with customer demand, just procured seed financing from some of Seattle’s top VCs and Angels.
Get in on the ground floor! As one of the first five employees, you’ll have a significant impact on our company’s direction and success. We’re looking for top engineering talent to help us solve a variety of ‘meaty’ challenges – from community building and e-commerce optimization to proprietary new logistics and demand planning algorithms.
Our prototype was launched in September 2013. We’re in the process of making architectural and design changes to optimize user experience and performance for our cross-platform ecosystem. Though our initial focus is on Seattle, once we’re ready for scale we plan to expand into new markets across the country.
