Dubizzle, the Middle East leading online brands is in search of a Tech Team Lead to join the dubizzle engineering team. The Tech Team Lead will play a hands-on and leading role in an agile development team of back-end and front-end engineers. He or she provides technical and team leadership through coaching, mentorship and exemplary development.

Your responsibilties?
- Master up-to-date and in-depth understanding of the dubizzle code base and technologies stack in a quick and efficient way;
- Write and maintain clean code following dubizzle’s programming practices;
- Ensure that we always deliver software of the highest standards by promoting company-wide coding standards, guidelines and best practices;
- Coordinate and contribute to the planning and roll-out of new releases and product updates;
- Coordinate and contribute to post-release maintenance issues;
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope;
- Liaising with product owners to generate tangle technical requirements and acceptance criteria from business objectives;
- Develop elegant solutions for complex problems;
- Create unit tests in accordance with our established standards to cover assigned work;
- Promote and safeguard the reliability and efficiency of our current code base, platforms and/or core systems;
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and apply them in our day-to-day activities and our technical vision;
- Gain a detailed understanding of the complete architecture of our product and the position of your product stream in it;
- Demonstrate technical leadership and mentorship by setting challenging but realistic (SMART) goals and guiding the team efforts towards successful project delivery;
- Review work of team;
- Monitor the performance of team members. Identify and encourage areas for growth and personal development;
- Provide and share a broad knowledge of technologies and architectures and function as a technical leader and mentor within and beyond the scope of your product stream;
- Create an optimal working environment and methodologies for the assigned product vertical team.
