We have built Strategyzer.com, the easiest way to rapidly sketch, share, and test business model ideas online. The software is inspired by the international best-selling book "Business Model Generation", which was co-authored by our founders. The Business Model Canvas is a core component of the Lean Startup and Customer Development movements that have taken the business strategy world by storm.
The application itself is written in Ruby on Rails, but due to the highly interactive nature of the software, much of the programming complexity happens on the front end. Our application's codebase consists of 40% Ruby, 40% CoffeeScript, and 20% Javascript. The Ruby/Rails component serves as an API feeding data upstream to Backbone client-side.
