Position Details
Mediamorph lies at the center of the media and entertainment ecosystem. All major Hollywood studios, leading television networks and the largest video service operators use Mediamorph to better measure, understand and future-proof their businesses in a rapidly changing environment. We do this through our industry leading cloud-based platform that collects rights, performance and social data on an industry-wide scale. We then overlay that data with tools to automate operations, perform data analysis and optimize business results. Mediamorph’s core services include: Cross platform audience measurement, Contracts and rights management, Accounting and royalty automation, and Social data dashboards.
Responsibilities
The engineer will report directly to our VP, Engineering and be responsible for software development, working with our offshore team, reporting, builds, fixes and analysis. The environment is that of a start-up – fast-paced, heavy responsibility and immediate direct impact. Engineer will be expected to work independently and to evolve the role as needed.
- Backend Development - Develop new data backend analytics and reporting tools in Java
- Frontend Development – Work with a UX designer and frontend lead to develop new user interface components in Backbone.js and Marionette
- Reporting - Write and debug SQL queries with a focus on performance in processing our large data sets
- Infrastructure/Builds – Assist with server management, database management, production build support and provide input and ideas on new tools and procedures
