Waywire Networks is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our technical team. The Senior Software Engineer will build new product features as well as maintain existing software and provide technical assistance to customers integrating with the Waywire platform.
You will have the opportunity to work on a high-performance, highly available, highly visible SaaS platform and gain critical experience developing and maintaining software deployed in a multi-server, multi-platform environment.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience and passion with the Perl programming language, the LAMPerl environment as well as exposure to or willingness to learn NodeJS.
- Implement, architect, and design Object Oriented Perl solutions
- Work with the tech team to design, develop and maintain a highly available web-based application platform built using Perl, MySQL and in a Linux environment
- Develop, maintain and monitor custom-built technical solutions that facilitate customer integration with our platform
- Integrate third-party data sources with the Waywire platform and help to monitor and maintain those integrations
