About You
- You have mastered skills in algorithm development, spatial data types, and social computing challenges, but want to step up and work on a brand new big data problem focused on traffic intelligence.
- You want to ship real experiences that solve real customer use cases, fast, and at scale.
- You enjoy working in a collaborative, open team environment where problems are solved in real-time.
- You love the energy of building something important from the ground up at a startup
- You have worked in full on agile scrum and love building things in a fast and iterative approach
- You possess strong technical judgment in conjunction with a passionate customer-focus
- Your are a self-starter with a strong work eithic .
- You are comfortable working in a flat organization and can strike a balance between doing what it takes to get “stuff done” and collaborating with others to make you even more effective.
- You come with your own Nerf gun and know what the FHC is (our Product Owner had no idea).
What we are looking for
- At least six years of hands on experience designing, developing and delivering large scale business critical services
- A strong track record of delivering innovative Big Data solutions that empower customers rather than drowning them in data. Master of multiple big data tools such as Hadoop, Storm, Spark, etc.
- Expertise with delivering customer facing solution built upon open source frameworks such as Spring, MongoDB, Cassandra, Node.js, etc.
- Experience with developing and deploying reliable and scalable cloud-based services
