We're looking for a senior software engineer to join our team as a co-founder as we develop a product that connects design, branding, and manufacturing in a unique way. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, and building and configuring online e-commerce systems. Our technical co-founder is based in Seattle, but because we're a multi-location team, a disciplined approach to communicating with team members is a must.
This is the 3rd full-time position we’re hiring for - following our hires of a product manager and business analyst - so this is your chance to get in at the earliest stage possible. The company is funded at a seed level and is moving forward with building a prototype, which would be your first major project.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software solutions using Python, JavaScript, and SQL
- Work within Django and EmberJS frameworks
- Select and configure 3rd party applications where possible to reduce in-house development
- Practice test-driven software development using automated unit tests
- Make intelligent tradeoffs between performance, robustness, and time to implement
- Conduct design/code reviews
- Document code and train other developers on solutions
