As a Data Structures Developer, the primary duties will entail the development and design of web software to support our customers' process improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have a background in database design and development, and query optimization. The job will be involve some maintenance of existing applications, but will primarily focus on re-design and development of those existing systems. A particular area of emphasis will be integration of our in-house charting engine used in other MoreSteam products to improve reporting capabilities. The working environment is one of a small office and requires flexibility, initiative and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to work independently.
This position entails responsibility for the following activities:
- Develop state-of-the art reporting interface for web-based project tracking application
- Maintain and optimize current systems based ColdFusion, and to a lesser extent ASP.NET
- Design client admin interfaces for product configuration and management
- Design database-driven content delivery using ColdFusion
- Provide support for client custom programming requirements
