About the Role
The Senior Front End Developer will be part of an senior engineering team that has extensive experience developing custom user interface solutions as well as integrating industry leading platforms such as Jive, Adobe and SiteCore. As a Senior Front End developer, you will play an integral role in defining and bringing to life the user interfaces created by the user experience and design teams for both mobile and web. You will work closely with clients, project management, and design throughout all stages of delivery. Your title will be commensurate with experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Front End / UI development for client projects
- Create clean, efficient, well-documented code in HTML, CSS, Javascript/AJAX
- Develop front-end for responsive mobile and web applications
- Build prototypes and demo applications that address client needs
- Keep a pulse on trends in the industry and identify technical innovations
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years professional experience as a front end developer
- Experience with Agile development practices, having successfully gone through multiple enterprise-level software development life cycles
- Excellent communication skills and experience being client-facing
- Experience and expertise working in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (jQuery, node.js, angular.js, backbone.js ), AJAX
- Jive Software experience
- Keen interest and knowledge of latest trends in mobile and web app interfaces and development
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team and make appropriate trade-offs to meet time constraints
- Experience collaborating with clients, project managers, designers and fellow engineers.
- Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment
- High motivated individual with interest in enhancing skills and learning new technologies
- Degree in Computer Science related technical field
- US Work Permit required.
