The Role:
We are looking for a front-end engineer to work in various capacities on our product team.
- Work will include application development, application design, support and engineering solutions to difficult problems when they arise.
- This position is focused on front-end engineering, but will also contribute to all aspects of the stack.
- Work in a rapid development environment with engineering leads to implement a growing Backbone.JS UI and API on the latest cloud technology
- Work directly with API engineers to build and improve upon backend services
- Help design, development and implementation of responsive design for mobile web UI
- Write well-tested, maintainable code.
Desired Skills and Experience
JavaScript, MVC, Backbone and/or Angular, jQuery, CSS, SASS, RESTful
What you need for this position
- Expert understanding of JavaScript beyond JQuery
- Knowledge of Backbone and/or Angular and RESTful applications
- Experience working with CSS and SASS
- JavaScript MVC is a MUST
- Experience doing TDD
- Understanding of UI optimization, REST style services, HTTP and LAMP stack
Bonus skills
- Experience with mobile development
- UX experience
- New framework technologies
