What do we need?
Within our online division, Sizmek Social, a product of Sizmek (NASDAQ:SZMK), is a company with a vision to make it super simple to create rich media advertisements that work on all screens.
We’re seeking a programmer to join our team of 5 engineers. We have a content management system written in PHP using the CodeIgniter MVC framework. This CMS is designed to let its users rapidly create HTML5 based rich media advertising units.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable learning, maintaining and adding new features to this CMS system. We need someone with 5 or more years of experience in LAMP stack web development.
If you are the right person, in addition to improving our existing system, you will be responsible for helping to fight the scalability battle and optimizing HDD usage, DB performance and code paths. We have a solid QA group that you’ll work closely with to help build automated testing systems for the code you write and the ad units your code produces. Meanwhile, you’ll become an expert in Javascript (Backbone + Marionette), HTML, and CSS (if you aren’t already).
