Acupay is looking to hire web developers to expand its suite of web applications and help create new technology solutions that serve the needs of the major financial institutions and issuers of securities around the world.
We work in a fast-paced environment and pride ourselves in being ahead of the curve in providing technological solutions to regulatory changes. We are currently growing into new geographic regions and types of market participants we support. As a web developer, you will create technologies and solutions that will be used by central and municipal government agencies, tax authorities, central clearing systems, custodial banks, asset managers, hedge funds and other financial institutions from all over the world.
The role demands good problem solving skills and ability to work through the complex challenges of financial markets with real-world consequences. You should be able to demonstrate competence in javascript/JQuery, HTML/CSS and SQL.
Responsibilities
As part of the development team, your responsibilities will include
- Contributing to existing projects and leading new projects that will be used by our clients.
- Designing technology solutions that support our internal stakeholders (Business Analysis, Product Managers and Operations).
- Supporting improvements in our current technologies and infrastructure, helping resolve issues faced by internal and external users and improving older code.
- Incorporating good software development practices, including code reviews, testing, documentation, etc.
