Position Overview:
NYCEDC is seeking a mid-level Web Developer. You will actively support the Lead Developer in the management of web applications ranging from business-critical internal tools to our external site architecture. The ideal candidate will have a balanced skillset of front-end and back-end technologies with the ability to communicate effectively across business, technical, and creative teams.
Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and test modules in Drupal
- Implement web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Work with the latest open-source projects
- Monitor and survey site analytics, server performance, efficiency, and reports across our various sites and accounts
- Prepare status reports and ensure deadlines are met on all projects
- Coordinate among cross-functional teams to identify challenges, make recommendations, and implement solutions. Other duties as assigned.
About the Marketing Department:
The Marketing Department leads the promotion of the NYCEDC brand and its programs and services through advertising, direct mail, brochures, newsletters, NYCEDC’s Web site, nycedc.com, PR outreach and at trade shows, conferences and other events. Marketing also provides an intake function for EDC, responding to telephone and email requests.
