This is a job where you will get to learn and use leading-edge technologies while making a difference working to reduce energy demand, developing software for a high-potential startup funded by both the Massachusetts Clean Energy Council and the largest U.S. electric utility.
You will be writing energy demand management software and firmware for remote sensors, sensor network hubs, and electricity demand controllers, or for cloud-based servers used for monitoring, alerting, over-the-air update, commissioning and asset managment, analytics and visualization.
As a member of a small team, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development process including architecture, design, coding, test, and deployment. We are practitioners of agile development and continuous integration, with an emphasis on software craftsmanship and clean, simple, and elegant code. Your software will underpin eCurv's ground-breaking approach to reducing energy by major commercial users.
Working remotely is a possibility, but candidates should still reside within driving distance of Newton, MA, because in-person meetings and/or lab work may be required.
