The Sr. R&D Software Engineer will be responsible for the integration of partner software products into the MTSI product and services line associated with cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
Detailed responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, integrating and delivering software products relating to the MTSI Guardtime Program. The PSE will report the Director of Technical Solutions for Guardtime and will work closely with the Technical Director, Chief of Training, Chief of Customer Support and Chief of Information Assurance. As an integral member of the software development team, the PSE will research new technologies that are applicable to the software development, provide reports demonstrating use of new technologies, and maintain a local Apache Maven repository. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and implementing new features within the MTSI software suite, integrating the software into other technologies and ensuring that proper versioning and version control is up to date with a detailed history. The PSE shall be able to work with JIRA for all configuration management related responsibilities. Additionally, the PSE shall participate in Configuration Control Boards providing recommendations to the Technical Director and support customer support help desk activities as required. Finally, the PSE shall work with the Chief of Training to develop and deliver training that leads to certification on software solutions.
Other Job Requirements:
• Provide inputs and support to the Chief of Training to develop high quality courseware to include assisting with the design of systems labs and providing feedback
• Provide customer technical support.
