Senior Backend Engineer at 8tracks (San Francisco, CA)

8tracks is internet radio, used by 8 million listeners each month, where people share and discover music through playlists containing at least 8 tracks.

We're always looking to hire great people who want to solve hard engineering problems while delivering an amazing product to our users. 

We're really trying to find someone who can build some serious backend functionality so you have to be proficient with Ruby, scaling, SQL, NoSQL. Depending on your skills and what you want to work on, you will also be able to help us with:

- our website (jQuery, Underscore, Backbone.js, Mustache, RequireJS)
- our API and backend (Ruby, Rails, Sinatra, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Mongo, Sidekiq)
- our Analytics (mySQL, Redshift, Backbone.js, Mongo)

You'll work directly with the founders and become a crucial member of our small engineering team of 5. You'll manage your time and be given the responsibility and freedom to build the best possible apps.
