Well hello there!
We at ColorJar are adding a fellow digital craftsmen to our development team. What’s a digital craftsmen, you ask? It’s someone who loves building amazing, thoughtful, done-the-right-way digital products -- from custom applications, to ecommerce, to mobile-optimized brand and content driven sites.

About The Role

At ColorJar, we love Magento. We did our first Magento site in 2008 and have been customizing it ever since. We've done lots of different Magento projects, from fancy clothing boutiques with heavy design to high performance prescription eyewear that allows for full customizations and prescription collection to auto parts including full year make model searching. We are looking for more people that aren't scared by Magento. We all know that the Magento way is random at times, but we need someone who can join our team and rock out Magento the way it was supposed to be done. Some of the things you will likely deal with include:
Turning Custom Designs Into Magento Themes
Making Magento Do The Amazing With Custom Extensions and Code
Troubleshooting The Occasional Magento Problem
Following Magento Best Practices

About You

The idea of being a cog in a wheel makes you do this.
You laugh at animated gifs.
You are psyched on the idea of improving your craft by surrounding yourself with brilliant people.
You want to surround yourselves with people -- you are not a loner.
You are a nerd: closeted or proud.
You’re often the smartest person in the room, but love it when you’re not.
You’re tired of working on things you don’t care about.
You’re willing and eager to learn and apply new and emerging technologies.
You aren’t scared of clowns, because we've been known to send one to say job well done.
