Our next generation architecture is being actively developed in its third evolution. We've now embraced a pure JavaScript stack (Node.js, MongoDB, AngularJS) and are rapidly adopting it for most everything we build. Technology moves fast and so does Kink.
We are looking for a Senior Architect to understand our common vision, coordinate among our groups, and help us deliver the best experience in the industry. This position reports directly to the Director of Technology at our historic SF Armory headquarters.
As an architect, you will be responsible for the design of nearly all software components in one way or another. You will work closely with the Product & Engineering teams to establish solid APIs and consistent integration points.
Working at the Armory is an experience like no other. Located in the heart of the Mission district in San Francisco, the Armory sits as a historical landmark; a proper castle with a dungeon. Across the corner is the decadent Kink owned bar, The Armory Club. Both, are hosts to vibrant nightlife and events.
As an engineer, you may choose your platform of choice; even Windows. The office is pet friendly. We have an on-site gym, multiple kitchens, a roof garden that our chef uses to cook amazing lunches, and enough sinks that half of the company can wash their hands simultaneously.
