As our technical team has grown we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Lead Developer / Technical Team Lead to manage and coordinate our tech / engineering team, coordinate processes and development steps and streamline it with the business development processes of the company. This position requires to understand every part of the technical side of ZenMate and to be able to stay on top of the complex technical architecture as well as to have the ability to guide very skilled experts and to have the expertise to assemble all independent (backend) parts into a compelling and smoothly runnning overall structure. As our Senior Full-Stack Lead Developer / Technical Team Lead you need to guide/lead the tech team, inspire and motive, review work, coordinate processes as well as to work as the cathalyst between the founders and the development team by working in the intersection of the two and translating the overall vision of the founders into actionable, technical steps which you will lead. This position consists of a majortiy of team-/ & tech management work but also requires you to jump in to code and develop things yourself in various areas, if needed.
Your tasks
- You will coordinate, lead and manage our engineering teamA high degree of freedom but also the corresponding accountability for your decisionsInitiate and setup Scrum processes (or similar software development tools)
- Hold Sprint planning meetings and daily Scrum meetings
- Plan architectural sessions and participate in design and product sessions
- Develop innovative solutions based on product requirements and business challenges
- Research and apply new technologies and best practices
- Work very closely with the founders on vision and direction of the company
- Translate and split development goals into actionable tasks for the tech team
- Ability to train and lead a team of developers, product managers, engineers &designers.
- Being responsible for the effectiveness and output focus of the engineering team
- Code reviews of the engineers, thus being responsible for high code quality
- Leading and participating in regular bug fixing
