A small, but established global innovation agency is looking for a Creative Technologist for our new Venice Beach location. You should have a deep and wide technical skillset with an interest in orchestrating large-scale digital ideas with some of the world’s best-known brands, but also diving under the hood and rapid prototyping (skunk works-style) on a regular basis. Our technical solutions can range from desktop/web, to mobile/tablet, to installations and physical computing. You should be a fantastic communicator and be able to explain complex solutions to non-technical teammates and clients. Bonus points if you can join us for our Friday happy hour BBQs on the office terrace.
If you can combine a wide expertise in the latest web and mobile technologies with innovative ideas you are the right person for this role. We expect you to have at least 5 years experience, a strong portfolio of working with large-scale clients and a passion and hunger to assure North Kingdom can stay in the forefront of development for many different technical platforms.
We are a small, global team of creative and technical experts with very focused areas of expertise and a huge emphasis on maintaining our company culture. We have offices in Skelleftea and Stockholm, Sweden, and Venice Beach so we spend a lot of time collaborating with our overseas colleagues on Hangouts and Skype. Our projects range from medium to large scale as we work with many of the world’s biggest and most creative brands like Google, Netflix, Disney, and Adidas.
The Creative Technologist will be involved in the project pitch process with the client—innovating and finding the best solution to technical problems—public speaking not required, but creating prototypes to help convey ideas is required. Once projects are awarded, the CT will work closely with our development team to transition responsibility and scale technology accordingly.
We're very fortunate to have such a strong team, culture, and clients that we are being especially selective for this role--passion and hunger for exploring new technologies should be in your DNA.
