Hi there! If you get this job, you will be working hand in hand with senior leadership to develop the next generation of technology, be it frontend, backend, or both, for our cutting edge business analytics platform.
A lot of the work will be developing new features for our main product, a recommendation engine and data normalization service. We have data scientists for the actual machine learning, but you will be improving everything from getting the data in and looking the way it's supposed to, to working with new client ecommerce platform integrations, to our fancy snazzy dashboard.
A lot of what we do is client-facing, so if you're not comfortable writing unit tests for new functionality, this job ain't for you.
We're looking for smart people who can fit multiple roles and get things done. We're _not_ looking for you to work late hours every night - in fact, we're not looking to mandate your hours at all. You're the kind of person who doesn't need your hand held.
Some examples of what you might do here:
- Write a fully interactive page to filter customer data by communicating with our frontend API using backbone.js.
- Add useful functionality on our internal client management tools, like an engine pipeline health monitor
- Plan how to structure the infrastructure for our next big growth cycle
- Hook into an Email Service Provider API and write tests to ensure smooth bidirectional data flow.
Compensation:
Highly Competitive Salary (70k-120k DOE) + Equity + Benefits. The exact numbers are a function of what you bring to the table and your risk preferences.
