Behance’s passionate, rapidly-growing development team seeks a Database Engineer to join our team in SoHo, NYC. Behance maintains high traffic, high visibility applications with immense amounts of data, numerous third party integrations, and challenging scaling problems.  As a part of the Adobe family, we're crafting the future of creative workflow.


To fulfill that goal, our team has built huge databases of the best creative work. To get there, we need people who can build scalable high performance database systems that ensure the consistency and availability of our data. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our talented team of developers and operations engineers to create products that connect and empower the creative world. The work you do will help to improve the lives of millions of creatives.
Day to day responsibilities would center around maintaining and improving our MySQL databases and building the systems that make our data searchable. Major projects will include implementing / improving search indexes, and building tools to analyze our data. You should also be able to balance multiple projects with competing demands, quickly and effectively diagnose problems in distributed web environment and are comfortable working in flat, matrix-ed teams.
