Column Five is looking for a talented and experienced front end developer who is forward-thinking and self-motivated. You will be joining the Visage team as a Column Five employee reporting to our Director of Technology.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Day-to-day, you will be actively contributing your mind and skills to the implementation of Visage products and new custom implementations. This includes:
- Building new, custom data visualization components to run inside the Visage platform
- Prototyping and coding custom charts and data visualizations
- Assisting with front end development of Visage web sites and applications
- Working closely with producers and designers to understand and implement client requirements
- Understanding and following best practices and code conventions for the Visage platform
- Collaborating with team members regarding new features and procedural improvements
- Cultivating and developing the skills of new and jr. team members
- Enjoying a nice beer on Fridays (if so inclined and of legal drinking age)
