HERE Everyday Mobility in Berlin is recruiting a Senior Mobile App Developer with in-depth knowledge in Java and Android. This is an experienced position that requires fluency in the latest Java capabilities and Android SDK. As an Android developer you will be a key member of our growing mobile engineering team, developing industry-leading mobile applications and SDKs. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who is not afraid of digging deep into new technical challenges, loves to work with Kanban in small teams, and has experience shipping one or more Android apps that are currently available on Google Play Store. Backend experience in node.js and JSON REST API design is a plus.
Your responsibilities
- You will design and build advanced location-based services applications for the Android platform
- Your will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- You will create intuitive, custom UI controls and interfaces that match our great user experience
- You will work with internal data sources and API's
- You will unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
