We at ColorJar are adding a fellow digital craftsmen to our development team. What’s a digital craftsmen, you ask? It’s someone who loves building amazing, thoughtful, done-the-right-way digital products -- from custom applications, to ecommerce, to mobile-optimized brand and content driven sites.
About The Role
As a ColorJar Wordpress Developer, you will interact with various projects with various clients. We do a lot of work in PHP with Wordpress, and everyone is custom. We do in house designs for our clients and build custom Wordpress themes with them. We are also really good at bending Wordpress to do what the client wants, so we heavily leverage custom post types, plugins, etc to achieve great things. Since we have lots of awesome clients, we are always working on lots of different projects, so get ready to jump in and learn about a topic for a while. Some of the things you will likely deal with include:
•Setting up Wordpress Sites
•Building Wordpress Themes From Layered Photoshop Files
•Building Custom Post Types
•Extending Wordpress to Build Amazing Sites
About The Role
As a ColorJar developer, you will interact with a variety of projects with various clients. For this particular role, we are looking for someone who has CodeIgniter experience as well as general PHP skills. Since we have lots of awesome clients, we are always working on lots of different projects, so get ready to jump in and learn about a new industry, topic, or idea for a while. Some of the things you will likely deal with include:
•Custom CodeIgniter Apps
•Custom Wordpress Sites and Custom Magento Sites
•Front-End Coding with HTML and CSS
•Back-End Coding with Fun Platforms
