Forio is looking for an experienced Senior Web Application Developer with advanced JavaScript skills to build highly interactive real time games and predictive analytics forecasting tools.  We’re looking for someone interested in shaping the direction of our business with a passion for the latest advances in web technology, data visualization, big-data, and high performance computing.  The ideal candidate may or may not have experience with server-side development or databases (we’ll happily introduce you to our platform team).

At Forio you’ll work on predictive analytics software and training simulations for clients like Harvard Business School, Wharton, and MIT. We’re a proven industry leader in the simulation market-- our simulation “Everest” is the top selling business simulation of all time and over 60% of MBA students in the country have played our management simulations. We’ve also built forecasting tools for clients like CBRE, Major League Baseball, and the CDC.  One of our data visualizations about the 2012 Presidential Election was featured on MSBNC.

You’ll work as a leader on cross functional teams of excellent developers, designers, and data scientists.  Much of your work at will focus on developing applications in Epicenter, our third generation simulation, optimization, and platform for server-side models, creating interactive interfaces, and sharing insights.

We have an opening for a team leader for someone interested in leadership and project management as well as coding, as well opening for developers who prefer to focus exclusively on coding.

Interested? Send a resume to jobs@forio.com. Include a short email note telling us what appeals to you about the position and how you think you might contribute.
