Envoy is seeking an experienced front-end web developer to join our expert team to work on projects large and small. You will be working at the forefront of client-side technologies, making use of techniques such as responsive design, and tools including AngularJS, Knockout, LESS and Bootstrap. Envoy has a range of clients from startups to enterprise customers, which affords our team the opportunity to work on projects from CMS public facing websites (written in Umbraco) to large web applications. Your role will be to provide support and expertise on the front-end for these different types of projects.
We're looking for someone with some creative flair, but not necessarily a full-time designer. You'll be involved in making state-of-the-art and visually compelling websites, but it's more important that you excel at CSS and Javascript.
The responsibilities include:
- HTML5, CSS3, Javascript development
- Implementing front-ends in AngularJS, Knockout and other client-side MVC/MVVM libraries
- Creating custom CMS websites using Umbraco
- Designing and implementing user interfaces
- Working in an agile environment with close customer collaboration
- Collaborating with other team members using Github, HipChat, Jira
This is a permanent, full time role that will provide you with the opportunity to learn from other experienced developers. We are looking for someone with a passion for writing high quality code and who is always looking for a better way to do things.
While we work mainly in a .NET stack, we strongly believe in picking the best tools for the job so developers are exposed to a variety of languages and frameworks, most recently Go, Node.js and Scala. Every developer has a Herman Miller chair, a top-of-the-line desktop machine and multiple monitors, with at least one of those being a Dell 30" Ultrasharp. We are passionate about development and run internal tech talks as well as hosting tech meetups in our office.
