About Us:

The members of our diverse team all enjoy working here, and we feel we are making a difference in contributing to the educational community. We have built and continue to support a number of applications that enable fundraising at Columbia, including an online giving system and a customized web front-end for our prospect management and gift reporting system.

Existing applications are primarily coded in ASP.Net/C# and backed by Oracle databases, with some Drupal web sites in the mix as well. However, we are starting to explore other language and platform options, notably Node.js, MongoDB, AngularJS and Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

You will work as part of a team focused on developing innovative solutions that enhance education and research by increasing donations, and bringing together and supporting alumni and other communities.

• Improve and maintain current applications and tools written in ASP .NET/C# and Oracle.

• Update SQL server procs for those applications.

• Design and develop mobile friendly applications using JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, NodeJS, HTML/CSS and Drupal/PHP.

• Produce technical outcomes based on user stories / tasks defined for one-week sprint cycles.

• Share mistakes and successes openly.
