Crunchyroll, the official source for anime and drama, is starting a new Incubation Team!
The Incubation Team is a lean and exciting team that is focused on rapid deployment of new channels and new product offerings. The team is composed of engineering, product, design, and business, and split into small pods that execute autonomously with precision and innovation. As a member of this team, you will be at the forefront of new product deployment.
The charter for the Incubation Team is to focus on new channel opportunities identified by senior leadership, and will be responsible for iterating, innovating, and delivering a variety of new content channels onto our video platform. We are looking for the best and brightest to join this new, high-visibility group.
As a front-end web developer, you will work on our web and other HTML5-based application platforms. Qualified candidates are technical and keep up with the latest web technologies. They are capable of building a JS + CSS MVC framework from the ground up, and are familiar with page optimizations, good code structure, and DOM inspections.
Responsibilities
• Work with rest of incubation team to build out initial consumer experience offering.
• Work on developing video streaming apps for new HTML5-based platforms, including living room devices.
• Work on developing web-based libraries, tools, and SDK components for our internal platform framework.
